Food safety and allergen information matter to us. Here’s what you need to know before you order, whether you’re visiting the bistro or picking up something from the bakery.
The 14 major allergens
UK law requires us to tell you if any of the 14 major allergens are used as ingredients in our food. These are: celery, cereals containing gluten, crustaceans, eggs, fish, lupin, milk, molluscs, mustard, tree nuts, peanuts, sesame, soybeans, and sulphur dioxide/sulphites.
Eating with us in the bistro
Please let a member of the team know about any allergies or dietary requirements when you book, and remind us again when you arrive or order. Our kitchen will talk you through the menu and can adapt dishes where possible.
Bakery items
Pre-packed bakery items for direct sale are labelled with allergen information in line with Natasha’s Law. If you’re ever unsure about an item on the counter, please ask — a member of the team will be able to help.
Cross-contamination
Our kitchen and bakery handle a range of allergens. While we take care to prevent cross-contamination, we can’t guarantee any dish or bake is completely free from traces of a particular allergen.
Questions?
If you have any questions about allergens or ingredients, please get in touch via our contact page or ask when you visit — we’re always happy to help.
